When generating PDFs with Jasper, Arabic character support varies depending on the font selected. Based on our testing, font "DejaVu Sans" have proven reliable for displaying Arabic text.
Important note: Jasper Studio's default preview uses Java rendering mode, which may display Arabic characters properly even if they won't render correctly in the final PDF output. To ensure accurate results, always switch the preview mode to PDF within Jasper Studio before finalizing your report.
